More About Heavy Duty Waterproof Tarpaulin with Eyelets
As a heavy-weight sheet, our 270gsm Heavy-Duty Tarpaulin features an impressive 16x16 weave count and is manufactured from high-density polyethylene with a silver top sheet hemmed onto a black underside, and a reinforced corner patch at all four corners for added durability.
Despite their heavier structure in comparison to our Lightweight and Standard Tarpaulins, these Heavy-Duty Sheets are still manageable and easy to handle. They are hardy, waterproof and UV stable and therefore ideal for use as temporary roof coverings.
12mm aluminium eyelets are spaced at 50cm intervals across all four sides of the sheet, allowing for additional security when fixed in position with Ball Bungees – whilst remaining flexible.
Our 270gsm Standard Tarpaulins include thick 3-rivet corner reinforcements for added strength and are available in 3m x 6m, 4m x 5m, 4m x 10m and 8m x 8m and 7m x 10m sizes.

Please note: the bigger the Tarpaulin, the more support it will require. Always ensure that the Tarpaulin is suitably supported according to its size.
** All our Tarpaulin sheets are cut sizes, which is industry standard terminology for the size of the material before it is formed into a tarpaulin. This means that when seams and hems are taken into consideration, the final size can be up to 30cm-45cms shorter.
