Quality Control
A part of our commitment to providing all our customers with the highest quality products, all sheeting products and accessories follow quality control procedures, closely inspected and monitored at every stage of manufacture and supply. Working through a roofing quality control checklist ensures that once manufactured and packed, the sheeting is safely stored ready for collection or dispatch. Each load undergoes a thorough inspection before delivery is undertaken and cover sheets are used to protect sheet packs.
What is ISO 9001?
ISO 9001 is part of our quality control procedure which ensures the highest level standard of customer service and quality processes.
ISO 9001 is the International Standard for Quality Management Systems, first published in 1987 by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), it is one of the most commonly used management tools across the world.
ISO 9001 is designed to help organisations ensure that they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders, by having a framework in place that helps ensure consistent quality in the provision of goods and/or services.
This standard uses a process approach and is based on seven quality management principles, which include having a strong customer focus, the involvement of top management, and a drive for continual improvement.

Quality Control Procedures
As a leading provider of roofing, cladding and outdoor materials, we constantly ensure that our quality control procedures are of the highest standard possible. The coated steel strip we make into our products is produced in accordance with our roofing quality control checklist, with all our profiled sheeting and purlins independently tested to current CE EN 14782 requirements. We want you to have peace of mind when purchasing from Cladco, being fully aware of how your products are manufactured and how we ensure quality is always maintained.
Our roofing sheets are highly durable and, depending on the galvanised and protective coatings directly applied to the steel, will last for many years. At Cladco we use PVC Plastisol coated sheets, Polyester Paint coated and Pan Tile form metal sheets, all available in a range of great colours to match your build requirements.
Roofing Quality Control Checklist
By working closely with our customers, at Cladco we know exactly what you are looking for when it comes to ordering roofing and accessories. This goes back into the manufacturing process to ensure we meet all expectations. Our investment in manufacturing and product development has increased over the years to meet customer demand, with us installing the latest metal production machinery. Because of the higher demand, we have raised our demand for quality control, ensuring that no matter how busy our production is, our quality control procedures do not decrease.
To produce the high-quality, pre-coated sheeting, at Cladco we use a system of multi-layer coatings that are applied to the zinc-coated high tensile steel strips which are then oven-cured to ensure optimum adhesion. We do this to give the metal sheets excellent corrosion resistance and climatic protection, along with abrasion resistance and strength.
